What to expect. Learning the proper techniques of running and applying it for speed on the base path, in the outfield, and understand quick feet in the infield. Plyometric training and agilities. Training the core muscles for increased power geared towards the swing and throwing muscles, controlled and faster hip drive, and stabilization for any fielder fielding the ball. Age appropriate strength training and instruction on proper form. Fun and unconventional exercises!

Each athlete first goes through general testing to see where the strength and weaknesses are. From there I have put together a softball specific program that combines running technique with strength, agilities, plyometrics, power movements, core and flexibility. Not only can strength and conditioning produce stronger and faster athletes but it also helps with injury prevention. Doing the same motions over and over again creates asymmetry in the body which puts added pressure on tendons and joints. Strengthening all your muscles helps give your body more of a balance.
