Once upon a time I was at a St. Patrick's day party with family. I was maybe 16.

My grandma, who I had never seen drink alcohol even though she was a bootlegger's daughter who owned a bar, was pretty tipsy. She kept going to the band and asking them to play this song, they kept telling her they would. Blowing her off, buying time.

Finally they tell her they don't know it.

**** hit the fan.

"How can you play a St. Patrick's day party if you don't know this song?!?!?!"

I finally corralled her and got her back to our table. She still wasn't happy.

I say to her "Grandma... why are you so upset? Are we even Irish?"

She said ".....Are you ******* simple???" ;)

So,,, for grammy. Prolly not the way you'd like to hear it. A little more modern. Nevertheless:
