I think it's great to have a plan in place just in case it rains and we're looking forward to attending. We also have your number in case of rain outs. I was simply referring to the e-mail we received. Believe me NO one is as sensitive and understanding as I am when it comes to rain delays and hopefully we'll be ok.

I only live about 15 minutes from the park and if there is anything you want posted to the OFC after you get to the fields just let me know. I would be glad to post it.

maybe I can start changing the atmosphere --lets talk about the teams and players. Give the girls some props --ME ? I'm looking forward to seeing Brittney Duncan swing the stick. Hey the girl hits 630 % with power. Who would'nt want to see that ? And another laser gold player up the river from me about an hour , from Huntington WV. Her bio says WV player of the year . Will be interesting to see if our young girls (doom 95) can hang with that type of talent/experience. my guess is we can finally get our OF some work. hard to work on your D when pitcher is K'ing a bunch, so this will be good for our team. have someone hit us well and make us make plays. Probably lots of them !

can't wait --my kid is ill, hope she is ready in 36 hours. So many types of illness's going around up here in our county. Great collection of teams, should be a great weekend of high level competition. Glad it's in Cincy ! MD

Spoke to Tim - most of the rain missed Goshen - they only got about 3/4" of rain. Field crews & Tim are already working hard on the fields and getting ready for all of the teams coming to Goshen!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in action!

We only got 1/3 inch of rain... and not 3/4 inch. North of us 25 miles got the 3/4 inches. Water has been off the fields since 2 pm we are now opening the fields up. When I left to post this message for Marie, two diamonds have been opened up. Sunny and windy right now. "Wrap around" showers for early Saturday morning is going to stay north of us according to National Weather Service as of 15 minutes go. Sorry Toledo.. you are going to get hammered tomorrow.

Also, I am posting to all coaches and to all fans coming to the park this weekend. BRING LAWNCHAIRS.... Bleacher are at a very minimum and some fields have none.

WORD FOR SATURDAY MORNING: PLAY BALL. Games are on as scheduled. We will be at the park all night long, painting the lines in the outfield grass.

And you all wonder why the Quakerman picks Goshen to play events.... it's call new drainage 2 years ago. Quit raining at 11:00, major water gone by 12:30... swept water off the fields in spots.... That's why. Great place to play the game. I almost bet we won't use a bag of diamond dry....lol

Forecast for Saturday... Overcast skies and windy. Sunday: Sunny and windy. Them curve balls will be working even better for the pitchers....

The wind died down with the Sun but it got a little nippy. DADDY DICE was at the gate collecting admission. Didn't realize it for sure until later. I tried to get him to give me a senior discount, no luck. He was short on small bills and all I had was a twenty so I tried to get him to let me in free, no luck. I would have tried harder if I had known it was him, live in person. Would have at least said hello.

Was fun to watch my DOOM friends play.

Quakerman / Marie, THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY at the ball park. I expected the worst when pulling in this morning and was quite pleased to see everything operating fairly close to on-time.

Great job getting the park ready and improving it all day long.

We had somone take a jugs net today by mistake ,,,,,Coaches can you please check your equipment and see if you have an extra one,,,,,,, If so please return it to the concession stand so we can return it to the rightful owner......Thanks to all the coaches and teams today for your patience while we were getting the fields finished,,,,,, lots of good games, look forward to the same tomorrow......
