Left Handed Girl Softball players, playing infield position

If your a left handed Girl and your primary position is on the pitchers mound for your softball team. Its all good when your on the mound.

But what happens when your Coaches moves you to your secondary position on the diamond.

And your secondary position is not as a outfielder.

This discussion is not so much about Girl Fastpitch Softball pitchers.

Its more about Girls that are left handed and play in the infield only for your Girls Fastpitch Softball Team.

Coaches, questioning your positioning of your Left Handed Girl Softball player(s), in the infield.

If all things are equal on your Softball Team infield defense will you play your Left Handed player at Short Stop, 2nd Base or only on the corners?

If you will only play them on the corners, could you explain why?

What disadvantages or advantages does your defense gain, by proper placement of a left handed girls softball player?

We have a left handed girl at 2nd base and one that is at 3rd. I think if the kid has good footwork she can play any of the infield positions.
