We lost to the Classics in elimination...great bunch of hitters and coaches. Coach made a point to give our girls some nice compliments post game huddle.....lots of class. Classics parents were huddled pre-game with us in shaded area and blended right in. Good group they have.

Agreed, 3rd base coach talked to my dd during a break and asked if she is having fun because she was smiling. Her reply yes, she and he told her that is the way it should be.

This has nothing to do with score. Our first game was the Thunder Boltz, it being the first game we did the gift bag trading. They had some really great Ideas in it. one item was a CD with the girls favorite songs on them. Each song was listed with the player so we knew what her favorite song was. They also had a sheet of paper with each player, and on it was them answering question on favorite hobby, best play remebered etc. Anyhow I listened to the CD and it was really good; I had a smile on my face just listening to the music. It told me the different backgrounds (maybe) these girls have. You had few R&b songs (goes with age group 14u), from The Doors to AC/DC to a country song. It was really cool to listen too and they were a really nice group of players and coaches.

Thanks for the cudos to Madi. She did go down on friday and again on sunday to help Chain Reaction out. Turned out to be a real nice tourny for them and she had a great time. Thanks for noticing.

always next year. i will make sure nobody forgets the rain out. i'm watching some softball outside of cleveland where it's been raining on and of for three days.

We played in a little town called Clinton between Barberton and Massillon and we had rain on both nights and mornings and played.

I thought it was her Frank. We were waiting to get on a field beside Chain when Paige said she thought she saw Madi. She just cant stay out of turquise and black lol Happy to hear they had a great weekend!!

Bill and his daughter and staff do a great job of running a tournament, keeping the coaches informed and making good decisions on the weather. I highly recommend any of their tournaments. We had rain at both Buckeye Showdown and the World Series. They made decisions and adjustments and got most all the games in. WTG!
