having lawyer involved and knowing his address will make it easy to serve his lawsuit paperwork. Plus I believe he has reappeared on this site posting a bunch of 'FREE' tourneys for 2021.

His address in Mt. Healthy has been common knowledge for a long time.
He is running Baseball events all over Ohio and surrounding areas. If you want to hurt him - contact all of these baseball people that are still entering his events and make them aware!!!!
He is attempting to run Fastpitch in various areas in Ohio, besides Cincinnati, he has events listed in Xenia and I think Marion of Findlay.

I have heard for the last 3 years that he owes people money - Dennis Dick, the Ohio USSSA Baseball Director, is owed big money from him!
I don't understand how he stays in business continuing to screw people over. But if people want to do a little more action than words - they should be able to shut this crook down!!!
Send him the way of Tim Cleaver!!!! LOL

well if you want to point out ever single thing he has listed we could do that.
Seems kinda lazy, prob an easier way to do that than me point out everything listed. He's all over the tournament page with listings

I am curious if the people who have made accusations have had things resolved or heard from Mr. McCann?
I received a text from him today stating he has made ALL Refunds for this past season for Fastpitch Softball events.
I am hoping that is true!
Hoping to know that this text is accurate and teams have been taken care of for this past season!
We all want to see Fastpitch Softball grow and wish all those helping to make it grow in the right way, all the luck in the world!

Nothing to do with being lazy, I don’t even have the person user name that your talking about. The mods and admin spends lots of hours on the forum to help everyone that has a request or need help. I’m not sure calling us lazy will get anything done for you.

This is not accurate. We have contacted him multiple times since February and no refund has arrived. Very sad to take money from families who are working hard so their kids can play in tournaments!!

it appears that there are a bunch of free tourneys that just appeared in Tourney listings as happening in Hamilton, Ohio, spring 2021. that I would be very skeptical about.

Those are Ohio Top Notch Tourneys and they are legit. Played in a couple this year, do a good job.

I text him today and he told me he didn’t host a single tournament in 2021. I also email him and he started the same thing. That he didn’t host any tournaments in 2021. So I’m not sure how he could have honor his promise he made to let teams play for free in 2021.

This person has nothing to do with MVP Sports park or it's owner Dave Earhart. PLEASE NO ONE GET THIS CONFUSED OR THINK DIFFERENTLY!!!
MVP Park and it's owners are top notch & well respected !

Unfortunately, it is someone who has had a bad track record in hosting baseball events for several years and several organizations already have barred him from hosting their events... he just currently has a business name that sounds similar to a strong park. He could change that name tomorrow - so make sure you are aware of the individual! Many of his so-called cancelled events were slated for Koenig Park, which he was in charge////
That is why I was very surprised and shocked when I saw that ASA/USA was allowing him to run tournaments this past Summer. He is this decades version of Tim Cleaver.
I have a feeling that just like with Tricky Tim last decade, no one will get their money back.
But everyone needs to make sure the baseball world is made aware and hurt him where it counts!!! Karma is the best revenge at this point.....

MVP is a class park IMO....
Old Tim Clever or, "Quaker Man"...We played in one of his bash for cash events back in early 2000s at 16U. We never got the $100 for the third place prize.
Not sure if Doom Gregory or, Wear got their 1st & 2nd place but I hear it was a very entertaining championship game. I heard Tim had another event in Wilmington where he took everyone's money because of rain. He had to use it to rent a helicopter to dry the fields LOL

Tim Cleaver, the POS guy. Did the helicopter trick at Tealtown... that dude is a piece of work! See him on Facebook every once in a while, and get pissed off thinking about him...

Ahh my old buddy the Quakerman, Mr. Cleaver. He threatened to drive up to Grove City to "kick my ass" one time via a private message in the old forum on here about 10 or so years ago. The problem is the Mike Craig he was threatening to pay a visit was the Grove City Parks & Rec Director who was about 10 years younger than me and in a lot better shape. He looked like he would have thumped Mr. Cleaver if he even knew why he was yelling at him.

Good luck if you ever get a refund from McCann. Dave at MVP Sportspark can tell you some interesting stories about him. McCann supposedly ran under another name and booked events at MVP Sportspark the first year they reopened the park after they bought it. Dave Earhart wanting to get the park on the radar in the youth market and let him have pretty much every open weekend he had available since they got a late start that spring on scheduling. He said the first event went pretty smooth so MVP Sportspark was excited to have them back again. He said the 2nd one was a disaster as no one from the tournament staff showed up in the morning and he had teams and umpires all looking at him to do something. MVP had nothing other than the field dimensions so Dave figured out what age group went where based on the dimensions and also by asking the coaches what age group they were in. (for the novice BB folks, there are different pitching and base distances for some of the age groups in BB) and also put the officials on fields and started the tournament on time. He said that McCann's nephew or someone staggered into the park about 11 am all hung over and looking like he hadn't been to bed yet. He said this young man had not listing of teams, no pairings, and no umpire schedule. In the meantime, Dave at MVP Sportspark had found McCann's website and printed off the teams schedules and just winged it on the umpire schedule and even fed the officials so they would stay calm (officials can be just as big of divas as some coaches at times). He said the tournament rep just disappeared at some point assuming the park had it covered. After that, McCann had the nerve to also ask him for half the gate fees on top of skipping out on not paying him for the field and maintenance fees. He took McCann off the schedule for the rest of the season and sat basically empty most of the summer until he called us that fall and we got him on the path to running with a group who wanted him to succeed as well as give us a quality place to host our events and eventually other events as well.

Flash forward during the winter and Dave at MVP Sportspark goes out on McCann's website out of curiosity and McCann has changed the names of his events to MVP Tournaments and has MVP Sportspark listed every weekend for with both baseball and fast-pitch listed for every event with all age groups listed. Mind you this is a 5 diamond complex. Dave called and told him to take the events off the schedule and not to contact him anymore.
