My take on these polls!

Why don't you vote? Just curious

have to of played more than just you and Fire in the Top 10 to be knowlegeable enough before I throw a vote out or away. Just because the other teams have been around much longer doesnt' get an automatic vote from me. Fully objective I guess and don't want to get wrapped up in that side of the polls. Like watching for now...

I don't know whether being in the polls matters all that much - but if you are near the top you usually get the best our opponents have to offer each week. Last weekend at Best of the Best the Sundogs didn't start Zito on the hill, but she was in when the game got close. The Wolfpack Black had Jessica Simpson pitch against us. Great for us to learn what college pitching will be like, but difficult for us get enough runs in. I'm not saying either team was afraid of us - just saying it gives us a chance to get better. I do wish there were more coaches voting though....

I think you are right Dave. We played in 18U at GAPSS and I am pretty sure we saw everyone's #1 pitcher. It was great experience playing MVX Gold twice, Nightmare, Ohio Freeze, Buckeye Heat 18's among others. We just could not figure out the MVX Pitcher unfortunately. I hope that experince pays off for us in Sioux Falls.

That pitcher for MVX Gold is 16. We got to play them early on and it was our only loss of the weekend. We got a few hits but no runs. Sioux Falls - that's what we are looking to as well, I hope it makes us better for that.
