Fairborn Girls Softball (FGSA) was established over 30 years ago to foster, promote, develop and regulate girls softball. To achieve this purpose, FGSA strives to create an atmosphere of informed instruction on the sound fundamentals of girls softball, encourage and demonstrate sportsmanship and good character, respect for others, and the fun of healthy competition. Emphasis is on the participation, sportsmanship, enjoyment of the game, working together as a team, and the physical and mental development of each player.
This year FGSA is branching out into a new arena?competitive select fast pitch softball. FireStorm is a year round program that travels to tournaments and plays league ball outdoors in the fall and spring and trains and plays indoor tournaments through the winter. We will be hosting try outs for 8u & 10U on Aug. 9 from 10 am-noon and try outs for 10u & 12u on Aug. 23 10 am-noon at Community Park 391 E. Dayton Yellow-Springs in Fairborn, Ohio. Girls from all surrounding areas are welcome!
