I've had several people ask me how they can become an ASA or Ohio High School umpire. This year there is an easier way to do it!
A new class is being offered in central Ohio that only requires two weekends, instead of the usual 6-8 weeks of class time. But you'll need to hurry...the first class is this weekend (Feb. 12)!
Yes, there is a cost involved- the same registration fees that all ASA or OHSAA umpires incur. All rule books and training materials will be supplied.
Anyone interested can contact Mike Burwell at WMTC2001@YAHOO.COM
