So we are down to the last couple of weeks in the season. Heidelberg and John Carroll face off today in what will determine both playoff positioning and weather they will be in the top 4 at all. Ohio Northern and Otterbein are deadlocked at the 4th position, with Muskingum right behind them. Otterbein plays Wilmington today and Ohio Northern plays Baldwin Wallace.

We have a winner Heidelberg is the OAC regular season champs and will host the OAC tournament. Making the playoffs are John Carroll, Ohio Northern, Capital, and Heidelberg. The tournament will be played may 1st through the 3rd.

Day One
Game #1: #2 Capital (14-4) vs. #3 Ohio Northern (12-6), 10 a.m.

Game #2: #4 John Carroll (11-7) at #1 Heidelberg (16-2), Noon

Game #3: Winners from Games #1 and #2, 2 p.m.

Game #4: Losers from Games #1 and #2, 4 p.m
Day Two
Game #5: Loser #3 vs. Winner #4, 11 a.m.

Game #6: Winner #5 vs. Winner #3, 1 p.m.
Day Three (if necessary)
Game #7: Winner #6 vs. Loser #6, Noon

Congrats to Heidelberg here as well ... I believe this is the first OAC title ever for their softball program, and first trip to the NCAA tourney.
