The Ohio Hawks Gold 04 - Young team is looking for a catcher/3rd baseman (primary position catcher). At this level, we need someone with a very strong bat, a pop time of 1.9 or below and an overhand throw speed of 57 +. We require both strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. This is an opportunity for a very athletic player to be put in every position for recruitment.
We will be playing in Tennessee, Alabama, Indianapolis and Columbus this coming fall. Our team is stacked in pitching with 3 fireballers throwing in the 60's and 3 with crazy movement. Blocking skills are a must, as well as the ability to stick/ frame pitches. If you feel that your dd has a strong work ethic and the drive to play at the next level, this would be the team and organization for you. FYI - please do some research on our program to understand the level we play at and what we are all about as a premier organization.
