According to the Ohio NSA website, the players in the fall tournament must be playing in the age bracket that they are eligible for in 2007.
If you have a player on a 12U team now that will have to play 14U (13U) next summer, she is not eligible to play in a NSA 12U Fall tournament. Here is a link to the NSA Fall tournament rules...
Did the doc say anything about doing bracket seeding and handling complaints about umpires?
The pay is pretty good - I usually have an iced cooler full of Bud Lite to share for anyone there at the end of the day.

Brackets and Boos.... hummm. ? Since I can't hear I would be the perfect candidate to handle complaints. ? Brackets seeding - I have an Excel program that does the seeding (unless I lost it in the last computer crash). ?If I find it I will send it to you. ?Since I have the last game on Saturday I am there at the "end of the day". ? ;D
David and I sat and watched the harvest moon rise upon the fields after several hours of dragging, raking and lining them at Pick North. Wow!!! Can't wait for everything to begin Saturday in the A.M. Hitting the sack.
I am looking forward to another "classic" tournament - pardon the pun.
Dave - I hope to talk to you about an easier way to seed a bracket tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing eveyone again one last time before --sigh-- the winter sets in.
It is apparent that this age group has developed well coming out of 10's. Possibly it may have to do with NSA and PONY's both adopting the non-modified rules for the 10U age group. There were a lot of very good plays today that typically are not seen until 2nd year 12's. Very exciting. Very proud of this age group.
Was at the tourney today. I must say very well ran and organized by all. Lots of good competition in the 14u ages. See you all tomorrow!! Wish there would have been some
T-Shirts for sale (LOL). maybe next year!
The U14 Miami Valley Vipers wish to thank all those involved in this tournament. We played some very good teams and although we did not fare all that well........it gave us insight on areas we need to work on. What a classy group of teams. Every team we played was tough and could beat anyone on any given day. Great sportsmanship, very nice facility, and quite a few teams we have set as our benchmarks! We will see you again in 2007! And Classics Fall Qualifier is definitely on our list of must go's for next year!
Nightmare over Buckeye Heat Allen in 14u finals. ?Nightmare dominated with outstanding pitching and defense, and a very potent offense. ?It is only fall ball, but they looked primed for action.
I will look forward to matchups with the Nightmare and Laser Green in the 2007 season!!!
hartman, The nightmare has won their first tournament and now your ready to play the lasers, congrats on your win, but I dont think the nightmare is in the same class as the lasers and other top teams. Good lucck!!
