Ohio Classics 2007 Fall Qualifier

laser1, it is not my nightmare, as I have no affiliation. First saw them at Sparta, where they were competitive with top teams and the Lasers Green. Add to that the girls from the Ohio Classics, their top players returning, and a few others who made their 2007 squad, it will be interesting to watch. And in my opinion, they have a top coaching staff that will create a successful season for their team and cause separation with others.

hartman, The nightmare has won their first tournament and now your ready to play the lasers, congrats on your win, but I dont think the nightmare is in the same class as the lasers and other top teams. Good lucck!!

Whatever ... Congratulations Nightmare! Class has a lot of definitions .. if you know what I mean.

The negative post is not the opinion of the Laser organization. There was a lot of buzz this weekend about the Nightmare in a strong 14U field. Congratulations on your win.

Congratulations to both the Nightmare and the Buckeye Heat on a great tournament. Also to the Cincy Storm who played a great game against the Doom, their was some great pitching in this game. Next year should be interesting to watch. Hats off to the Classics organization for a very well ran tournament.

We were fortunate or (unfortunate enough!!) to play the Nightmare in the semi's and they are probably the best team that I have seen in the last several years. I believe that they shut out and run ruled most of their opponents on Sunday. ?What a feat!

Congrats to the Heart Force - you girls did an awesome job in a tournament with so many good teams ;D

What Cincy Doom team played at the Ohio Classics? Wear or Gregory?
Also, what Miami Valley Xpress played? I know there seems to be organizations with multi teams. It would be nice to have the coaches names behind the team listed. I know if you know you do indicate the coaches names.

If the name was provided to distinguish teams, I am sure that Dave and his crew would have attached it to the team's name. They did with my team - Buckeye Heat-Clark 12U because that is the way I identified my team on the registration form and that is the way the team was identified throughout the tournament.

The GCKA Nightmare would also like to thank the Ohio Classics organization for a great tournament. You could tell all the hard work by all involved made the event enjoyable for all the teams.

A huge thanks from our team also goes out to Katie Yoho; we were already down 2 players, and she delayed (and almost missed) her homecoming dance to play thru the finals - Thanks Katie!!!

It was Cincy Doom Gregory that was @ the Classics tounament this past weekend.

Can anyone tell me how the Doom did in elimination play. They won their pool, I think in with no trouble, I was confident that they would make it to the finals on Sunday(they have a great team!).

We ran into a very good pitcher from the Storm, she had a very good curve and was hitting her spots the whole game and we had problems adjusting to her and lost in the 1st round 1-0 in INT. I don't her name but she pitched a great game!!

I agree. I would have picked Doom in the finals as well. Tim does a great job with the team and they have outstanding athletes. It is always fun to play them. Just wish we'd beat them at some point

Thanks, but you have a pretty good team yourself, your team will be playing late every Sunday next year. We have had some great games together and i'm sure we will see alot of each other next year.
