The Ohio Emeralds is a non-profit organization base in stark county. It was formed in 1999 to provide athletes the chance to play competitive softball from 10u-18u. The Emeralds have won many championships at all age levels and are currently seeking athletes with the drive and dedication to keep that tradition alive. We are looking for players with the want and will to get better everyday, who eat sleep and think softball all the time and who most of all are coachable. With your current success this last weekend are you still going to hold tryouts?

The Ohio Emeralds 01 are still holding tryouts! One primary focus is going to be for a #1 type pitcher that wants to pitch in games against the best teams in the nation in front of college coaches, however all athletes that want to play at the next level will be considered. We play a loaded schedule that will be challengeing every single weekend. Our focus is to get our athletes recruited. We just came off a great season in which we finished the year with a 3rd place finish out of 116 teams at the ASA/USA Nationals in Normal, Illinois. The Ohio Emeralds 18u are still holding tryouts as welll! We are only looking for 3 players to round out our 2018 team. Top tier pitcher, catcher and SS/outfield. Like last year, there will be plenty of opportunities in front of college coaches, and the players will be challenged every weekend. We just finished our 2017 season in which we finished the year 47-14-2 with a 2nd place finish @ ASA/USA Nationals in York, PA. We have already qualified for nationals next year.
