Ohio Hawks Gold '03 - Rubal is looking to add a girl to compete for the SS position. We are very pleased with our roster coming out of tryouts, but would like to add another athlete up the middle. Will play another spot as well (same as the rest of the team). We will play a high level schedule. Please contact Joel Rubal at 740-972-4231 or coachrubal@ohiohawks.com . We can do a private tryout or you can come to our weekly practice if you would like to join us.

Thanks,
Joel Rubal

Planned fall schedule (registered for all): DeMarini Fall Brawl (Columbus), PGF Top 100 (Indy), Scenic City (Chattanooga)
Planned summer (assuming acceptance and no date conflicts): Dayton Metro, Scenic City, Outlaws Summer Invitational, USA States, PGF Firecracker Showcase, Stingrays, GAPSS

The Ohio Hawks Organization

This will be our 13th year as an organization. In 2019, we are scheduled to have 16 teams – located in Middletown, Dayton, WV, Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. Our goal is to provide an environment where the girls can improve on their fast pitch skills and prepare for high school ball and beyond. As an organization, our vision is to assist players with their college recruitment process. Our ‘top’ teams will play strictly ASA ‘A’ or ‘Gold’ level competition; all other teams will play ASA, USSSA and some NSA to provide a competitive, yet fair challenge to their abilities.

We have relationships with many local area colleges, Miami University, Ohio University, University of Dayton, Wright State, Ohio State, Tennessee State, Charleston Southern, Florida Atlantic, Akron, Toledo, Illinois and others that allow our teams to attend Hawks Camps on campus in the fall for training and interaction with their programs.

We have had over 150 Ohio Hawks players recruited to play college softball in the past 6 years. Currently, we have over 30 players that have committed to play at the Division I softball level starting in the next 2 years!

Coach Doug Lenos heads up our recruiting activities for the older players and Gold teams along with Coach Wendell Hutchinson.
