OSU parking is no problem......the weather has been bad but last night it did not rain and finding a seat is no problem either. If you get there a hour early its worth it to see the teams warming up. They are silly sometimes but it is entertaining. Last night it was Purdue in a double header. This Sunday is a DH with Oakland some OFC'ers were talking about making it to this one. The PENN State game I will be there May 9th last Home game and a DH I can't miss this one.

All the games this year are free well worth going to. Everyone there is friendly from the gate greeters to the grounds keepers. This is a new stadium not a bad seat in the stands.

And I quote:
"Good morning! Thank you for sending your feedback regarding programming suggestions for the network. We appreciate you taking the time to send along your suggestions and input as your feedback will help us create better shows and programming. We are constantly learning more about what Big Ten fans would like to see in and your e-mail helps us to do that. Thanks again and know that the Programming Department is taking your feedback into consideration.

Sincerely,
The Big Ten Network"

Boy, I told you I'd have them shaking in their boots. How about the rest of you guys? Send them your demands for an OSU softball channel 24/7!!!!

Do you have a e mail link direct to them? Maybe others would like to see more fast pitch on the Big Ten Network. The more demands made the better the chances of seeing repeat games during the off season as well. I know October into February many would be watching if it were telecasted.

I don't have a direct link, I just googled Big Ten Network and hit the contact us button.

Took some of our team to the Bucks games as well. Wow, the hit parade was on today. Great day for softball. OSU has a talented team with great enthusiasm, loved the SS (#24). DeeDee was fun to watch. Loved the base stealing and slapping! From pitching to batting, great day at OSU!

Got to take some of my team to the games yesterday.. It was AWESOM!! what a beautiful stadium.. We all had a great time.

- one thing I gotta mention that just blew me away though!! The game balls. They have like sniper spotters and agents making sure every ball is returned.. OSU hit 4 homers!! After one the ball was just sitting in the middel of the parking lot outside of left field. It just sat there for a few mintues, so two of our girls ran out there to get a home run ball, Thinking either they could personllay give it to the player, or keep it. It just sat there.. Anyway they get it and come back into the stadium and they make her go put it in the ball return!! Big ol blacktop scuff mark and all..

I understand all the fould balls and all, but it was truly unbeleivable to see how the staff there reacted to these softballs.. everytime a ball left the field it was like an goverment operation getting it back.. I know cost of softballs are portion of budgets, and efforts can be made to cut down on these costs, but to me it seemed way over the top.
It could just be me, and by no means am I complaining, because free softball at a place like that at that level, is worth giving whatever balls they want, back to em.

- I told my player though, she should have handed it to the guy and said" here, you go stick it in the ball return I just ran 150 yards to go get it"

As a dad of an OSU alum, I can tell with certainty, never get between an OSU official and your money, or anything of value.

Well, we're going put those OSU ushers to the test. We're aiming to take my dd's rec team to the May 9 dh. It will be interesting to see how well some of my feisty girls give up a ball.

Well Philbob, I'll tell you those ushers do not give up easily.. my son decided he woul dgo get the next homerun ball and stick it in our car before he came back in!! NO WAY.. they watched him the whole time and when he came back, they asked him if he got the ball, and being the honets kid I rasied he said yes.. So they promptly walked back to our car and he retrieved the ball for them.......... We did not go after any other balls!!

I'm sure they are. One of them, our catcher, I've assigned one of my coaches to always keep an eye on her. She's like the Tasmanian Devil. Always stirring things. Nice kid and best athlete too.

I hope so. I've got to get them used to throwing to my dd, all the catchers say she throws too hard. All I hope is she throws strikes. It's funny, all I was concerned about was her mechanics for monhs, but now that I've got the manager's moniker, I worry about all those pitches missing the strike zone.
