Re: Teams Qualified for IFA Nationals
That's the answer. I didn't want to do the NSA thing of last year where there was so many qualifiers in Ohio that everyone was stumbling on each other for teams and half of the events didn't go off... and some teams were shut out of even playing when the TD's found out they didn't have enough teams to play their own scheduled event.
I heard from a lot of teams that wanted to get into my events because another NSA event didn't have enough teams... or did have enough teams and the TD didn't want to have a small tournament where their profits were very low.
This is why I limited the amount of tournaments for IFA in Ohio to the amount of tournaments we are having in this state. None are at the same time or weekend as well.
It serves two purposes: a) teams don't get shut out and b) protects the TD from battling another IFA TD for teams.
It works for me and the TD's seems to like it as well.
