DURHAM, N.C.—On this day, May 20, 2018 Justin Guterding became the NCAA's all-time leading goal scorer with three tallies to lead Duke to the NCAA semifinals with a 14-9 victory over Johns Hopkins. It marked Duke's ninth appearance in championship weekend since 2007 and Guterding's first as a player. The hat trick was his 12th in 16 games at that point.
