yah, i agree with the comment that the 10U pitcher must be a heck of an athlete to be that accurate at 10 years old. so was the batter who was hit hurt? i mean, if the kid is that good and that accurate wouldn't she of took the player out completely and blew her knee out or something. that would certainly send a message to the other team. i have seen many organizations give players stickers for pitching strike outs, hits, defensive plays, etc. could the rumors have been started to mess with this 10 yr olds head? young pitchers could be taken out of their game if the coach and president of the organization approached them and warned them of the situation before the game they pitch. i think your organization should of talked to the coach and pitcher who supposebly accepts this behavior. i know the pitcher who you are talking about and i know the parents who approached you with the rumors. your organization did not play spring ball and this pitcher was the number one pitcher in the spring ball league. many parents from opposing teams gave great comments about her during spring ball. if this pitcher is that good, she would definately not have to hit a batter purposely. why would you want to put a player on base when you can strike them out? its too bad that rumors have to get started about a 10yr old kid to try to take them out of their game because of the success they are having as a pitcher. the coach has not been banned and the pitcher has had success all year with alot of stickers on her helmut. thats alot of beaned batters. im sure if this was true they would of been banned a long time ago.
