Let's change gears. How about coaches etiquette. Saw a coach appear to hit daughter

during game last week in Akron. Or what about coach talking trash about ex-player on

facebook. Sad part about this coach is also JV coach at local school northeast of Akron.

who is it ? you seem to want to stir the pot , so name names to educate us all...or is it more made up **** that you continually spew on here ....

I totally agree with everything you just said except for the yelling at their other kid part. That is sometimes a necessity when the other kid is a 3 year old trying to run onto the field of play or climb the backstop. ;&

I remember coaching my son's baseball team - I think it was the 5th or 6th grade school team. Between batters one inning, the mother of one of his team mates (a fairly large family, several kids of various ages) casually and mindlessly strolled across the field in front of home plate with her infant in a stroller. Both benches, umpires and most spectators just stared in awe... No one yelled, got mad or anything. We just waited until she finished her little trip. She was in her own little world, I guess! Memorable moments... :)

I have actually had parents from one of our travel teams buy me a t-shirt that says "Where's Max?" and my 3 year old a shirt that says "Here I am Dad". My son proves that "it takes a villiage" saying.

That was YOUR 12U coaches description when they called our organization president. Ask them where the PUNCH was because they are the only ones who saw it!!!

I called Dan and John and they told me no one called them from our organization. It was a outside person not any affiliation with us. So please get your facts right before dragging us into your ****.

My facts are straight. When it was first brought to my attention, it was your 12U coach who called. Twist it the way you want, there was no stuff until your coaches stuck their noses into business that they don't belong in. Once again....I will be the bigger person and move on and I hope your coaches can take a lesson and do the same.

So Dan and John are lying to me. Why would they do that ? We didn't say a word or post anything till you drug us into this. Please have facts not hearsay before you start something

You are the ones who brought it up and I can tell you her name. I don't think THEY are lying. But like I said, I'm done with the whole situation.

A time out tent for parents. lol. I'm still laughing about this one. Maybe the tourney director could make them stay there till claimed by their daughters after the game and I wonder how many would still be in the tent at dark. lol. Geez..........a time out tent............dang that's funny!!!!!!!!!!

We use a "Goon Squad" right field time out area for parents......

They don't allow us to drink at work.. something foolish about safety.

I've had catcher tell me with a grin.. don't listen to them (the parents).. they are more blinder than you... and laugh and smile which usually gets me to grin.

Another situation where the children act with more class and maturity than the grown ups do. I love when I hear about kids like this!:)
