Looking for pitching instructor for 12U DD Cincinnati area - been pitching for 2+ years - she had some arm/shoulder problems recently and has been shut down for two months - just about down with therapy and almost ready to get back on the mound - unfortunately instructor had to trim back students with new job. So looking for any recommendations/suggestions you can offer.

we also use Lou Lander. (513) 600-3995. He's out of the Lebanon and Tri-county area. I believe 3 locations in all. Dennis listed Buster whom is another of our favorites.

Others that work well with the girls are Tiffany Burlew (513) 288-6226 and Stephanie Burlew (513) 659-9322 whom were taught under Misty Bridges (513) 907-7335. Misty does still hold lessons but not taking on a ton of girls.

Was her injury pitching related? If so, I'd make sure any instructor you hook up with can explain in detail what "healthy" mechanics look like. Also, IF her injury was due to her mechanics, can the new instructor identify WHY those mechanics would cause an injury? Just food for thought...

Sammy ---- agreed - not sure if it was overuse, mechanics, injury or a combination of all three. We will definitely cover that topic in detail. Therapist did note she needs more leg drive. She was throwing 68 before the injury - so we expect her to be hitting mid 70's in a few weeks - yes she is 8U....LOL

Got to have a sense of humor being a pitcher's parent/coach.....
