please go watch your students play and pitch in games. This is not the same as pitching in a cage in a non game situation. Please watch to see if your student has mastered ANY pitches at all. How many times are they hitting their spots? Also, please help them understand that they need to own their change ups and off speed pitches or they will not be very successful as they get into the older ages.
I know its a "business" to a lot of instructors but IMHO your not doing them any good by continuing to add more pitches to their arsenal when they haven't mastered any of them.
