Post and Update Your 14U Team's Record for Consideration by OFC Poll Voters

If you want to be considered for the 14U top ten OFC poll, you can help the poll voters immensely by posting the following information:

For each tournament in the summer 2009 season, post your team's record at the tourney, and list each game with the opponent and the score. Then, with each succeeding week, EDIT your post (don't start a new one) to update for that weekend's tournament.

Although the Buckeye Heat '95 is not in the mix for top ten at 14U, I'm posting the team's record in the format that you should be using:

Buckeye Heat 94s have play in and won the following tournaments:

NAFA Uniform Qualifier
Spano Dome Winter Tournament (tied 1st)
Ohio Danger Early Bird (combined with the 13u Buckeye Heat 95s)
OFC Spring Blast.
Beavercreek Shootout at the Creek
USSSA Northern State World Qualifier

They finished 2nd in the USSSA Southern States

Record so far 14U - 33 wins-5 loss

They also played up at 16U in Milford and went 3 and 4.

We are currently ranked 3rd in nation for USSSA 14U-A

There was one team that I learned a little about this week that deserves some attention. The Central Ohio Ice 14U team. They kind of snuck up on everyone and had some very good games. They won the Rip It Tournament over some very good teams, including the Ohio Waves. I did not hear much about them but I did get a sneak peak this past weekend. They are good. Don't let your guard down against them.

You have to give kudos. The proof is in the pudding.

Johnnies you are correct, the Central Ohio Ice does have a nice team. I wouldn't they snuck up on anybody. Not sure how they did this weekend but they had three solid games last sunday for sure.

By the way the correct name is "Ohio Wave" We get the waves thing all the time but there is no "s" on the end.

Buckeye Heat 94s played up and age group in the 16U Heart of Ohio tournament this past weekend. We went 3 and 2. Lost in the quarterfinals to Ohio Liberty Kinser by a score of 1-0. We couldn't buy a hit with runners in scoring position. I guess all teams have those moments.

It was a good weekend though - great competition. Also, the rain stopped by to say hello and left after 15 minutes.
