Spots are limited and will go to the first registered and paid teams.

All age divisions will have a bid to the following ASA/USA National sites
10u - Findlay, Ohio
12u - Dallas, Texas
14u - Chattanooga, Tennessee
16u - Normal, Illinois
18u - Salem, Oregon
*ASA Eastern and Southern Bids will be available for all age groups as well
*Runner ups in each age division will receive free entry into The Sheer Madness ASA/USA National Qualifier June 16-18 2017

Tournament Details
4 game guarantee. 2 pool games into double elimination

• Pool play will be no new inning after 1 hour 20 minutes
• Bracket play will be no new inning after 1 hour 40 minutes
• Pool play will be straight ASA rules other than "roster bat". Bracket play will be straight ASA Rules
• Entry fee is $550. Fees must be paid in order to secure your spot
• Pool play will begin at 8:00am on Saturday and will conclude as early as possible in order to start bracket play
• This is an OPEN event. All teams are invited to participate, but they must be ASA Sanctioned and be able to provide proof of insurance, ACE certification, and Concussion certificates
• Out of State teams are also able to qualify with the bid and participate in the Showcase.
• Tournament ASA will be used to provide up to the minute updates throughout the tournament
• All fields will have temporary fences
• There will be a $5 parking fee per day charged by the City of Columbus
• Metal cleats are allowed on the turf fields except for Pitchers. Pitchers may wear turf shoes, molded cleats, or tennis shoes.

Registered teams will be fully accepted once they are fully registered and paid. This tournament is capped because of it being a 2 day double elimination tournament.

BOLD teams are paid or at least made a deposit and are fully guaranteed their spot. The age division is open until the max is reached with fully paid teams.

I have added these teams to the 16u list. I realize that some of you may be having issues registering through tournamentasa until after August 15th. Please e-mail me your information in the meantime. Please note that the first 20 paid teams are locked in. That is the only fair way to do it. The other age divisions will be cut somewhere between 12-20 with 16 being the most likely number. Double elimination in 2 days is an incredibly long process so the number of teams is definitely limited. I wish I could take more teams, but the format demands it.

You can, however, sign up for additional games on Sunday if you are interested in playing more. Those details should be on the tournamentasa site.
