WICHITA, Kan. – Five Friends University Softball student-athletes have received the KCAC Scholar Athlete award, the league announced today (Apr. 20).
To qualify for this award, the student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and maintain a minimum 3.25 grade-point-average.
The overall group consists of 33 sophomores, 22 juniors, and 41 seniors.
The official campus bookstore and course material provider of the KCAC, Barnes and Noble College now sponsors the KCAC Scholar Athlete and Scholar Team awards.
The Falcon Softball student-athletes that received this honor are listed below:
Ashlyn Jacobs (JR/Valley Center, Kan. )
Ericka Baca (SO/Arlington, Texas)
Kat Davis (SO/Keller, Texas)
Renee Downey (SR/Modesto, Calif.)
Savannah Jackson (SO/Ramona, Calif. )
