CLAREMONT, Calif. - The ninth ranked Lions (11-3) traveled to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (2-4) for a non-conference double header on Saturday, earning a series sweep against the Athenas. Vanguard is 17-5 all-time against CMS and has now walked off the field victorious in seven of the last ten match ups. The Blue and Gold earned a run rule victory in the first contest before narrowly escaping in the second game.
