[Softball] RedStorm opens tourney with two wins

VIENNA, W.Va. - The University of Rio Grande finds itself two wins away from a championship after winning a pair of games in the 2018 River States Conference Softball Tournament, Friday afternoon, at Jackson Memorial Park.
The top-seeded RedStorm rolled past No. 8 seed Ohio Christian University, 7-2, in its opening game, while blanking fifth-seeded West Virginia University-Tech, 4-0, in a winner's bracket contest.
Rio Grande, which improved to 34-11 with the wins, will face either No. 3 Midway University or seventh-seeded Carlow University in the winner's bracket final on Saturday at noon.
