My name is Mardee DeSantis and I am a longtime Buckeye Heat coach currently on hiatus. One of my sons has a muscle wasting genetic disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It is an ugly disease that will rob him of muscle strength and take his life in his late teens/early 20's. There is no cure.

On Monday, November 10th there will be a one-time special screening of a movie called Different Drummers. This movie is set in 1965 and is a sweet story about a friendship between 2 boys - one with ADHD and the other with Duchenne MD.

The movie will be shown in Columbus at the AMC Lennox Town Center. Movie time is 6:30pm.

If you are interested in attending, tickets MUST be purchased in advance. You can only buy them online at http://www.tugg.com/events/11443

A portion of every ticket sold will go to CureDuchenne to support life-changing, cutting edge Duchenne research.

PM me with any questions, or if you would like an email and flyer to share. Thank you!
