State Quailifier

This may be some what of a dumb question, but my team's longterm goal is to play in the NSA A world series in South Carolina this year. We have not officially earned a berth yet. My question is this. Do we have to play in a state qualifier in order to earn a berth?? We have played in several NSA tournaments this year and may have earned a berth by way of a pass down from other teams who have already received one.

Please advise.

Cincy Chill,

You can earn a berth if your team finishes well enough (not sure of how many berths are awarded at the States.

You have to play in the States to maintain any NSA berths that you have earned tis year.

Since you have not earned a berth yet, I would play in the States just incase you get a berth between the State and the National. If you haven't already registered for the State, you might have a problem. The deadline was 6/25. Contact John Deluca for more info though.

Here is the Ohio NSA website. You should be able to contact him through here.

WV is correct!

Even if your team won every NSA qualifier, you must play in the state to go to the Nationals. ?That is the rule :)
