Stiene’s 11 Strikeouts Propels Ohio Softball to 1-0 Win in MAC Tournament Opening Round

Led by Danielle Stiene’s 11 strikeouts, and a clutch RBI single from Natalie Alvarez, the top-seeded Ohio Softball team (35-15) outlasted No. 8 Miami (24-24), 1-0, in the opening round of the 2018 Mid-American Conference Tournament inside Firestone Stadium. The Bobcats will take on No. 5 Kent State tomorrow (May 10) at 1 p.m.
