The Sunday AM pitching session is now full. Saturday AM still has a few spots. We still have some afternoon spots open but now that the morning sessions are filling up we are getting a lot of interest in the afternoon sessions. Be sure to get your registration and payment in right away to hold your spot.

The hitting session for Saturday is close to being full. Once payment for all the recent registrations are in there will only be 5 spots left for Saturday. As the Saturday session is filling up people are requesting Sunday spots.

For those who registered and are waiting to send in payment, the spots are being given to the people whos payment is received first.

We will update tonight or tomorrow once we have an up to date count with the number of spots left in each session.

Update on registration:
For the Saturday Hitting session there are only 5 spots left once all registered participants get their payment in. If you are interested in the hitting clinic and need the Saturday session be sure to register right away to secure your spot.

The pitching sessions are almost full as well. We have a very limited number of pitching spots left. If you register for a morning session but could do the afternoon please note that on your registration.

Hey Bink....are you going to bring the girls down for the clinic? Can't imagine you'd miss a opportunity to meet Jennie since your garage is covered in her posters. LOL Hope to see you all there.

Many of us are just getting our power restored from Ike's wind storm Sunday and it will be a couple days before we can get paid conformation numbers posted....we are working on it and will get back with you.

At one point there was 690,000 without power in the Greater Cincinnati area.

I have not heard the numbers this morning however I have seen huge trees that looked healthy up rooted and were rotten inside, roofs are gone and debris everywhere. Trees and tree limbs on houses, on cars and in the street....it is a real mess down here.

It was nice to see the drivers use some common sense, as the traffic lights had no power and everyone was treating it like a four way stop sign and waited their turn. Sometimes we see the worst in people and then you see them helping each other.

Northern Ohio is just as bad. Many still don't have power, phones, internet! They did send out an e mail listing everyone that is attending. I know one thing, I found out you don't want to play softball in a wind storm. Sand and clay really hurts , when you are standing at first base coaching. I never tought I would say , I would rather have rain!.

We have been out of contact with everyone as the phones were also down so I am not sure what has been communicated to the attendees as to email.

Thanks for letting me know that someone is getting back with everyone I am just concerned that it is filling up and I don't know how many spots are still open and I have phone calls in to some of the people trying to contact them.

Will keep you posted...Thank you Dan.

Marcia will be coming down today to update the registration and using my internet to catch up on some emails so please check back after 12 noon today.

One thing we have found out is there are many people with registrations in the system however you have not made a payment and those who pay first will get the spot first. Please follow up with the payment so your daughter does not get disappointed.

We are just a few weeks away from what we feel will be the best and most informative clinic we have ever done in this area.

Remember if you are at a tournament and it gets rained out call SWOBATS at 513-860-5828 to see if there are any spots still open before you make the drive down.

The weekend with the GOLD, SILVER and the PINK! Don't miss it!

We still have a few people who have sent in registration and not sent in their payment. As those payments start coming in we have been told the people at swobat will be taking the earliset post marks first and the slots will be given to those people. If you have not sent in payment yet, be sure to get it in by the weekend. Below is a list of spots open for pitching for both days once all registration payments are received.

For the Saturday morning pitching session ( 9am -12 pm) 4 spots left
For the Saturday afternoon pitching session (1pm-4pm) 9 spots left

Sunday morning pitching session is full. If you registered for the Sunday morning pitching session and just recently sent in payment, if you do not receive a conformation email saying your payment was received and your spot secure you may want to check with swobat and see if another pitching session is open you could switch to.

Sunday afternoon pitching session has 7 spots left

Anyone who does not have a conformation email stating their choosen pitching session is secure may want to check with the facility and see if another session is open. For those who have registered and not sent in payment, if you do not get your payment in and another registration with payment is received the spot will go to the paid participant.

Hitting sessions are filling up quickly. We still have a few open so be sure to get your registration and payment in quickly.

Be sure to email or pm if you have any questions.

For the parents who will be attending the clinc-
SWOBAT will have a lunch available for anyone attending with their daughter. Tickets can be purchased at registration. Each ticket will be $5.00 (cash only). You will need to purchase a ticket to get lunch. Due to the large number of people we will not have room or time to purchase while in line. For those wishing to leave for lunch there will be a list of local places available at the front counter.

Please email or pm with any questions.

Lets get the rest of these spots filled up!!! After getting the itinerary from Howard the other day, you are going to get your moneys worth and more. He is going to cover everything you need to know about proper swing mechanics, and what it takes to have a high level swing!! Look forward to seeing everyone down there.

Marcia please make sure we have enough name tags to put on the parents.

I hope many of you introduce yourself to me...I am looking forward to it as I am just a little guy about 5' 6" and balding and wear a Yankees hat with my shirt tale out....no that is Hitter23 or it may be bouldersdad I get confused!

We look forward to meeting ALL of you!

Well, we all know bouldersdad would stand out-just look for the dad carrying around the tire for his dd to hit (sorry Tim, just couldn't resist lol)

I put in an order for LOTS of name tags. Everyone can put their name and screan name on and get to know each other.

Crystl and Jennie are really looking forward to working with the girls. Hopefully we can all show Jennie and Laura a really enthusiastic Midwest (and OFC) welcome and they will both want to come back again to do more clinics with us.
