The urban legend is when the Memorial Golf tournament and GAPSS are held, it is a no brainer that it is going to rain....

HOWEVER - sunny this weekend and no rain in the forecast. Another myth BUSTED.

Just got back from our first pool game and the fields at Arrowhead Elementary were beautiful! The weather was OK too.

So here is the first 12U pool score. Buckeye Heat (Howe) tied the Cincinnati Doom 2-2. Well-pitched game, both teams stranded a good number of runners.

LASER Blue(16U) goes 3-0 with victories over Explosion,Lady Sparxx, Lady Irish Gold.
I saw some of a great pitching "Duel" between Szipzka(can't spell) Express vs Gabby/Black Ice which ended in 0-0 tie!!

I asked to see TD 9 of 9 Flanagan numerous times but he was "on the job" most of the day?? Tuff job it is too,congrats for no rain today,perfect day for softball..

Thanks everyone for the scores and info. Keep 'em coming...I wish I had more energy to publish all of them, but I will count on you fine people to let everyone know.

Bold1, no one can find me because I have been hiding behind 500 bags of diamond dry at our compound (ha). Actually, I am really glad that count stays at 500.

Good comebacks from last weeks states by Westerville Ice and Gahanna Lady Lions. Keep it up today when it counts! There will be some tough games today, hope to make it out.

Any word on the Classics. I just have a feeling they are ready to bust out and have a hot tourney this weekend.

14u Classics beat Miami Valley Express this morning in the first round of bracket play. They then lost to the Gahanna Lions 3-2 in the last inning. They played another game immediately afterwards againist the Turbos and won 6-0. They are back in action tomorrow at 7am.
