Just to keep things straight, several teams scored on the Spirit this weekend (NC Spirit, OH Lightning, OH Phantoms and Dupage Dimond Dawgs). They did have shut-outs against the Sundogs, Star Dusters and Ice White and had a weekend tally of 67-9 in their 7 games.

Lightning played a great game against the Spirit until things got away from them late (final was 9-2). Always a pleasure to play against class people like Tom and the whole Lightning "family".

I predicted the 14 under compuware champ and didnt call this one in a round about way I DID TOUGH.Isaid i may have a thing or 2 to say to our laser and go game buddy.#1The uncle stans tourney was the best i ever attended well run,great umpiring and nice facility.#2 It wasnt me that said the ice white all the way the can really smack the ball thier bats MELTED (no pun intended) in the 7-0 blowout against the spirit.#3 The spirit proved out there they are a well coached group that are all TEAM PLAYERS NO I in team.ps buck-1 appears to be HUMBLED BIG TIME. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wanted to express our thanks to the North Coast Spirit organization for sponsoring a tremendous tournament. Everything was well run, food was great, people were helpful and it seemed like everyone had a good time.

This tournament had the best umpires we have come across in 4 years of tournament ball. We had 5 crews in our 7 games and all of them did an excellent job. There are always some close plays you may not agree with, but the "blue" was always in position and let the kids decide the game.

Uncle Stans is highly recommended for your 2006 schedule, we look forward to a return trip.

Sorry guru, you must be some kind of genious to remember all this stuff. I see that it was buck-1 and lazersb that predicted a June ice storm with the absence of the lazer nation at this tournament. Funny how one can assure a victory at a event they don't attend and can't quite deliver on the one they do.

Still think you should stick with slow pitch and soccer. ?;D ;D ;D

If you bothered to read my post above you will see that I gave the Spirit team recognition for a great tournament. Humbled?, 6 run innings will do that to you :'(

What went on was that the best teams won. You know that "wood shed" dad was always going to take you out behind? Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

I would like to say that the Ice White girls had a fantastic weekend all the way around. The Spirit was a good team, and if it had not been for the 6 run 1st inning, well who knows. We shut them down after that, and was just a good ball game.

Sorry you didn't get by any of the Pgh Spirit games - I know one of our parents asked you to. Thought we would see you at the championship game. It would have been great to have action photos from at least one of our games.

The 12U Wildcats are from the Southwest side Cleveland. They had played in two tourneys (1 ASA & 1 Pony) prior to Uncle Stans and won them both.

The White Ice score in the semi-final does not surprise me. It seems to me that everyone is catching up to these girls. Not only physically but mentally as well. I remember when this team stepped on the the field and literally blew people away. I caught bits and pieces of a couple of White Ice games this weekend and they very well could have got beaten by a couple of teams. At the 12U level they were physically superior than their competition. What I see of the White Ice now is the majority of the girls starting to level off.
