  1. Ohio USSSA - Cap City/Rust-Buster - April 30-May 1, 2016.
USSSA - 2016 National Championship Qualifier (NCQ) for teams classified as B or C.
Hoback Park - Heath 45011. Preferred format for 10/12u age groups is 3 games seeding into S/E bracket play. 8u-cp is 2 game pool seeding into S/E bracket play. There is a $5 per person/$8 weekend gate fee for this one.
    Age Groups offered: 8u-cp, 9/10u, & 11/12u.

USSSA - 2016 qualifying event open to 8u-cp, 9/10u, 11/12u teams. National Berths for the top 2 teams. National Championships locations are listed here: 2016 USSSA National Championships link.

USSSA does offer "odd year" age classes. Teams that classify as odd year (9/11/13/15) must have all girls with the same birth year or younger. If more than 2 odd year teams participate in a traditional age group bracket, there will be a odd year NC berth offered to the highest finishing team. If we can get enough to create separate pool play, than we will group those teams in the odd year pool. Teams will be placed in traditional bracket play to determine a tournament champion. Younger age group teams are also encouraged to "play up" and see where your team stacks up at the next age level. This year the USSSA Great Lakes Division "Odd Year" National Championships are in Marion, OH the week of July 13-17, 2016. Info here: Great Lakes "Odd Year" National Championships.

Entry fee is $375 for 10/12u & $250 for 8u-cp. Any team needing to register can also include $35 USSSA 2016 registration fee. If you need to sanction, please click here: USSSA Team Registration Info. TEAMS CAN ENTER WHILE THEIR REGISTRATION IS PENDING. We will take $100 deposits to hold spots. This event fills fast, so get your info in quickly.

Teams can enter online with their USSSA registration number or by mailing the attached entry form: Cap City/Rust-Buster.

Wish I were there to watch a few games and grab a couple of beef and cheese sopapillas from La Paloma's with their special salsa. Those things are addictive!!! Whenever I am over that way (I live in Beavercreek) I stop by there or their express store in Thornville to get them. My mouth is watering for some right now!
  10. The final results have been posted to the USSSA webpage. We would like to thank to staff at Hoback Park for keeping us playing all weekend even with a delay on Sunday. Many events across the state canceled Sunday but we were able to keep the original formating without shorting game time or drop dead scenarios.

We would also like to thank the teams and coaches for being patient and sticking the event out. We felt for a first year event, this one went off pretty good with minor glitches.

    Again thanks for playing,

    Mike Craig
