Ohio USSSA - "Cap City - Challenge" - May 20-22, 2016.
USSSA - 2016 National Championship Qualifier.

5 g/g - Preferred format is 3 games seeding into D/E bracket play. If we only get 5 team in a division, they will play 4 pool-s/e bracket. 8u will be 2 pool games seeding into single-elim bracket play.

USSSA - 2016 qualifying event open to 8u-cp/10u/12u/14u teams. National Championship berths will be offered to the top 2 teams in each age group. USSSA National Championship locations are listed here: 2016 USSSA - National Championships link.

USSSA does offer "odd year" age classes. Teams that classify as odd year (9/11/13/15) must have all girls with the same birth year or younger. If more than 2 odd year teams participate in a traditional age group bracket, there will be a odd year NC berth offered to the highest finishing team. If we can get enough to create separate pool play, than we will group those teams in the odd year pool. Teams will be placed in traditional bracket play to determine a tournament champion. Younger age group teams are also encouraged to "play up" and see where your team stacks up at the next age level. This year the USSSA Great Lakes Division "Odd Year" National Championships are in Marion, OH the week of July 13-17, 2016.

Entry fee is $425 plus $35 USSSA 2016 registration fee if not already registered.

Updated team list and format. Still 5 g/g for $425. We need 1 more 8u, 2 more 10u, and 1 more 14u team. If we stop at 5 in 10u, we will run 4 pool-seeded into single-elim. This way everyone gets plenty of games and still a chance to win the event without too many games on Sunday.

Also if you need help on game times just let me know. One of the 8u teams asked for early start times so they can play there rec league game in the afternoon. I am willing to help as much as possible to keep the hotel/travel cost down if you lets your team play.
