Walsh Jesuit softball skills youth camp

Walsh Jesuit High School will be hosting a softball skills camp on Sunday, March 3.

For players in grades 4 and 5
The camp will run from 11-1:30 pm.

For players in grades 6-8
The camp will run from 1:30 - 4 p.m.

We will be covering

• Essential defensive fundamentals
• Infield/outfield skills
• Hitting
• Bunting
• Base running

Pitching and catching will be covered in a separate camp in April.

The cost of the camp is $25 per player. The camp will take place indoors in the athletics fieldhouse on the Walsh Jesuit campus, located at the following address:

Here's an update on our Walsh Jesuit camp taking place on Sunday, March 3:

The 4th and 5th grade camp that was originally scheduled for 11-1:30 pm has been eliminated. Any 4th or 5th graders who would still like to take part in our camp can come to the 6-8th grade camp, taking place from 1:30 to 4 pm (We, of course, will pair similarly sized and skilled girls together).

We have had high interest in our 6-8th grade camp. So far, we have 25 girls who have RSVP'ed. We plan to cap the total number of attendees at 30. Please RSVP soon if you would like a spot in the camp.

It's going to be a great learning experience for the girls.
