In 12u Gahanna Lady Lions went 3-0 in pool play with wins over Talmadge, Westerville Ice and Ohio Lady Liberty. Then won a 1st round bracket game over Central Ohio Stampede. I believe the other pool winners also went 3-0, being Grove City, Ohio Dragons and Westerville Warcats.

Buckeye Heat (Allen) went 3 and 0 in their pool games with wins over Lady Liberty, Granville Defenders & Warcats Red.

Pacaba-Coach, The Central Ohio Stingrays 10U went 3-0 in there pool. I'm not sure how the other pool worked out though. Does anyone have any scores and results for the other pool?

Buckeye Heat (Allen) wins the championship with 8-5 win over the Turbos. The Heat went 7 - 0 for the weekend. Other wins today were over the Pickerington Panthers, NAC Stingers, and the Blaze. The Blaze game was hard fought game going 10 innings in the semi-final round. It was really great to see!!!

Great Game in the dust storm at Highland Park. The tourney was good overall but need to find some way to wet down the fields. The wind kicked up the dirt all weekend long.

mdf262, I'm sure it was dusty, but I'll bet the farm that the dust storm at Compuware was close to challenging the dust bowl of 22 down in Texas. I actually saw some tumbleweed on field #3, or maybe it was our catcher being blown to the backstop...lol. ;D

Bink44, I read that the conditions up there weren't great either. And yes I can relate to the tumble weed. I know that by the end of the day we were about just as dirty as the girls.

We were at Westerville Central JV field, it was bad there too. A very well run tourney. If we are going to eat that much dirt someone should invent ranch flavoring to put down before the games.
