Everyone has blasted this poll for various reasons over the last few weeks............
Good teams are on here & some have been left off in previous polls.

But I would love to have the Coach who voted Milford #1 give his reasons to Why & How he feels they are better than any other team in the state?????
If he watches/follows the sport at all - What is his thoughts? People who run this poll need to ask these voters that question & start picking better pollsters!!!

Well, now we will find out where they stand.....facing the only quality opponent they have played this Spring - could be a good time for revenge.
With the schedule of West, Lebanon, Mason - for a trip to State - we will see.........lol

Why don't you two just enjoy the ride for each of your teams. This will soon be over for both of you and nobody will remember the polls! Milford hasn't played the schedule Mason has but that doesn't mean they aren't as capable of going to state as anyone left from southwest Ohio.

If I were a gambler, I'd bet on Mason. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Lebanon, Milford, or West make a run!

As they say, any given day....
That is so true!
Nothing makes sense. Any given day.... Carlisle run rules Oak Hills, same day Milford run rules Carlisle... Oak Hills beat Lakota West... West is Milford's only Ohio Loss... bad day...
Western Brown lost to Milford 3-1.
Tonight, Lebanon beats Western Brown in 8 innings 1-0? Milford just beat Madison 3-0 tonight...
Milford beat Greenville...
I watched Mason Play Lebanon, Ky #1 team and East this year... Mason is the real deal!!!
So is Lebanon!!!

This sounds a lot like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon game.

any given day or in this case 2 days. West V. Milford was epic game. over night rain delay included. Errors on both sides lead to runs. Hard fought battle.

Reality - For Ohio, it was a Top 30 team facing a Top 20 team, the only D1 opponent it faced all year in the Top 50 & they came up short a 2nd time.......
Just shows the people voting in this poll have no real clue! They probably got their votes because of a MaxPrep article written by someone who clearly doesn't follow Ohio softball..........

your top 30 team scored 13 against Lebanon tonight and dam near beat them... Maybe Milford ain't as bad as you think... West scored 2 earned runs of the 7 scored in 11 innings...

No, the Top 30 Team was beat last week.....lmao Winning or losing one game, when playing a top tier schedule is not gonna move a team too much. If Lebanon had lost, doesn't mean they still are not a Top 5 team! But maybe with the experienced schedule West has played they are higher in that Top 20 then previously thought.

You can wrap it anyway you like - But a Lone victory against a Top 10 D2 school & 2 Losses to a Top 20 is not a very impressive resume.......Milford has a nice program - but there are at least a half dozen teams in each region & probably more in some that are better. Live with it! It is over now, I'm sure the memories will only get better over time.
