After 32 road games to start the 2019 season, the Ball State softball team will play its first games at the Softball Field at First Merchants Ballpark Complex this weekend when it opens Mid-American Conference action with a three-game series versus Akron ... The teams will play a 3 p.m. single game Friday and a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.
