You would not laugh if you or a loved one contracted one of the new strains of staph. Or TB. This is one of the reasons I have become very anti-military. They roam the world killing folks to "protect" us from the squeaking oysters under the bed. All the while we are being invaded by diseases that are taking a massive toll in death and suffering.

Can anyone one say twilight zone???;&

You folks make me laugh, I was only asking for advice on how to convince my 16 year old that it is wise to protect yourself against staph when playing indoor.

CoachJWB,
This is our first year at CSU, glad to hear that it has been clean. I think because it does get sun most of the year (well, as much sun as we get) instead of always being closed in.

You must be related to Obama
I told everyone that Obama was a lackey for the powers that run the show. He has proven down to the task. This thread was started about staph. One of the first posts was a, "So What"? The so what is that the clock is ticking and if a mutation occurs that makes acute staph infections an easy jump from innocous to virulent it could be a "Doomsday".

Even if it isn't a huge problem that effects our sport, better safe than sorry. There is nothing wrong with going the extra mile to protect yourself and your family. If it concerns you, don't risk it, have her wear sweats or sliding pads on the turf. My middle dd wouldn't talk to me for about a week because I bought and made her wear a face mask for pitching. The short lived peace and quiet was nice for a while and she still has her teeth so all is good!!

Renegade, you crack me up!! :lmao: :yahoo: :lmao:

You really should do some research about what has been done in our name. Makes the ""Terrorists" look like 1 year olds in a Hamptons day care center.

It's been awhile since I read the terms and conditions of OFC. Is it against the rules to call someone a moron? Just checking.

Ahhh ..... the Yellow Ribbon one is classic also, and that segment had Garryowen in it also ... perfection!

... and the 1960's ..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0g4TLmvaX8

Ahem, Staph ... I don't care how clean the environment, staph is a legitimate concern in less ventilated venues where sweaty athletes are sliding and rolling around and especially breaking skin.

..... and it has not stopped us from playing or even second guessing playing at Spano, G-Plex, Thunderplex (RIP), or that place down by Lexington (RIP) or Indy.

If one grovels at the altar of Rupert Murdoch one can do as one wishes.

Did you ever think it might be the squeaking oysters causing all this disease and destruction were suffering from?
Cant trust an oyster, unless is sauteed in butter and garlic or deep fried;)

Sometimes not even then. LOL Worst stomach cramps ever from a bad Oyster Rockafeller at 5 star place. Think they lost a star that night. haha
