Should definitely be a great game. 2 great Freshman pitchers, both have solid defense, Watkins has some great heads up base running, and Lancaster has to be the biggest powerhouse hitting team I have watched in a long time. Very exciting matchup for this area.

I would say John Glenn, Bloom Carrol, and Athens. At least around here.

John Glenn is a powerhouse. They have solid pitching and hitting.

Bloom Carrol has Lexi Paulson (Washington commit). She’s a stud in the circle.

And I have heard The Plains Athens team is solid all around.

Defending Div II champs (2019) Jonathan Alder is out after losing to Lakewood tonight 4-3. This was the Div II matchup in the state championship in 2019.

I agree with Bloom Carroll. John Glenn is 29-0 but had to score some runs to rescue the game in the bot 7th last night. Never count out LaGrange Keystone...Lakewood could be a dark horse.

The 2 games I was interested on Wednesday weren't as close as I thought they would be. Watkins Memorial 7-1 over Lancaster and John Glenn 12-2 over The Plains. More interesting games today. Western Brown vs. Beavercreek and Lakewood vs. New Richmond.

Triway...the team no one mentions. 28-2, only losses to D-1 schools. Nice to fly under the radar. Oh, no Seniors.

A lot of good matchups and congrats to those teams! A lot of storylines....Johnstown with a 19-11 record and Newark Catholic at 17-13. What a run! True Triway is kind of forgotten about with all those other heavy hitters in D2. Perfect opportunity for that to change. Good luck to everyone!
