Better watch out Honor ! Even joking about that will cause the sky to open and lightning bolts will dance around you. :lmao::lmao:

Just depends on if the bolts are Purple or that Ugly Green color, that will let you know who is taking it serious. :lmao::lmao:

Nothing a little anti-Static spray won't cure! :lmao:

Jus kidding Lester... you know we love the Static over here in Hawkland...

I would like for her to tryout for a "real" travel team this fall. She has been on our local team for 5 years and will be in HS next year so the eligibility factor will come into play in 2012 (most are only in 7th right now). They do well, but would like to move on to bigger things.

So if she wants to take softball to the next step, I'd like for her to be on a more competitive team and get more professional coaching. Any suggestions? Would like to stay within 60 minutes of home for practices, we're in Athens - yea that limits us a lot! ;)

Hey Bulldog, After having the pleasure to work with your dd and the rest of the team, I agree, it is time for her to take the next step. We will talk.

Not sure where we'll end up this year. We got a late start this past season, our first team decided not to finish the season, so we jumped in with another team as a late add on (they needed a pitcher, we needed reps; worked out for all involved). We are compiling a list for tryouts. Only time will tell.

Oldest dd will be in her 7th and final year with current team next summer.
Been a great ride and not looking forward to the end.
Youngest dd will be in her 2nd year with team and hopefully 2 more after that.
She has just blossomed this year and has become a very competitive player.

Most certainly, if they will have us! Stingrays have been great this summer, being our first travel ball experience! :))

We hope to be with the Mc Madness organization next year. My dd moves up in age (she is 16u black now). Hope we can get a 18u team together because she and we (mom, dad and stepdad) want to retire from here.

My DD is staying with the Marion Diamonds. They are a great org. they return 90% of there players. They have very good coaches, that go through an interview process, and evaluation each year. All players and coaches have acess to right view pro.

I hope so if they will take us back. We love it there, but I don't think they like me very much.

Reading most of the responses regarding a core group staying together don`t they do that at the college level? Also in high school? When our team was at the 14u ASA/USA Nationals last season I made it a point to ask how long most of the teams we played were together and at that time most were together at least 4 years and were with the same coach. Some of the teams coaches said they start with a group of girls and carry them through 16 or 18u then drop back down and start over again. I guess in the debate there are pros and cons to both and it depends on what each individual player and coach and team is trying to accomplish.
