Julie. I thank you for your comments. Although you and the few that wont let my past go are still ok with me. I'm sorry you feel I have screwed people over. I must have done something very horrible to you some time in your life. You've never even made an effort to know me or my group. Which is ok. Be honest, you hold a grudge for us for some reason, maybe it's me on here and if so again I'm sorry you harbor so much hate for me. If I would ever say the sky is blue, you would tell me 6 reasons its green. That's ok. I'm trying to cut out all the negative in my life so I can be better for my daughter, my players/ parents and the love of my life; Tammy Stires who I listen to a lot on the ball field. She is forsure a one that knows as you stated. I have made a couple good players since I seem to get poached here and there. Some last week tried to steal my catcher. I gotta be doing something right although you can't see it. I'm told I can't hold any ill feelings for anyone no matter what because it brings evil in my heart so again I'm sorry I ever wronged you. Maybe one day you will forgive me and shake my hand. God Bless.

Funny stuff!!!! If your doing it right do it you don't have to flap your jaws about other teams, call other teams players if they want to play for you they will call you.... so coach your kids to perform and you will get calls.
And dude please pick a personality.......

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Jesus but dang did u find Him in between your first and third post? It is not poaching when a player leaves a team and calls another team, it is called an unhappy player. If you are a new and improved guy ur off to a slow start. I'm sure u have good intentions for ur daughter/team but u seem to lack insight and good judgement. Good luck.

Renee.. Off to a slow start? Unhappy players.. I believe your dd is one of the top pitchers in the state and anytime I ask her to come play she throws you in the car and says " drive mom"... My girls are happy. Even the one that left didn't leave because she was unhappy.. She left to play with friends from school. Jesus is always part of my life! Now I'm done on this post with you ladies bashing me and my team because I asked a question about kids sitting and winning compared to playing every inning of every game and helping a team become as competitive as the team they left. If you took offense to this post, I'm sorry! Enjoy your Monday morning and entire week. I believe you are both good people. God Bless.

If Billy is a believer he inherently believes and thinks all people have good in them and will respond positivley to his search for answers to his player/prospect problems.Unfortunatly we all have our past that follows us,so some criticism of his approach is warranted. This forum is definatley is not the place to go to find answers without expecting peaple w/angst or personal vedetta's to come on and vent there dislikes for people. In the world we live in for most people its about exposeing and blaming others without looking at ourselves first.Best of luck to all teams searching for players .

I do believe every player/family has their own reasons for the teams they choose. There really is no right or wrong.....every situation is different. And truthfully at age 12u (my DD- Dollar destroyer's age) I don't feel that picking a team who may have some growing but the kids will play more is really bad. My DD is not caring at this point about colleges or major exposure. She just wants to play and learn to be as good as she can be. That being said there are other who want the opposite. AND there is nothing wrong with that. BUT in reading these comments there are some that are very mean spirited. Do you remember what we told our children when they first went to kindergarten??? We told them to be fair and play nice. So let's play nice. Leave personal attacks off the page. I would be saddened if my girls read some of these. We are really better than that. OK now that I am done. Have a great week everyone!!!

My wife told our kids ... "Make good choice" literally everyday when they were young. Maybe family leaves realizing they made a wrong choice after spending fall and winter season practicing with a team.

The way decisions are made by families in SEO leaves me confused and shaking my head . You can tell them how important it is for their daughter to play for a solid organization ( prefaced by IF she is a serious player and may want to play in college) and these really solid players still chose to play for mom and pop orgs ( Not saying there isnt room for them ) that rarely travel out of a three county area and rarely play top flight competition . Then seem amazed at age 16-18 that the dd doesnt have any college offers . difficult to have it both ways .

ManitouDan... You say who you play matters! I completely agree with you and that statement! My thought for this post is: there are talented kids that COULD be getting more game time reps on another team. Now, when that team picks that player up, it gives that team enough talent to play and compete against the competitive teams that matter.. Which means the player that left a team to join a "lesser" team didn't lose anything because with their talent.. That team is no longer. Lesser team.. The only thing the changes is that players game reps! She now is the starting for example SS instead of the back up right fielder and is competing against the team she just left in the same competitive tournaments. Now this team she's on is in the Championship game playing a huge roll instead of what's best for the team roll. You mentioned college scouts.. Well they aren't interested in kids on the pine. Most scouts I've seen watch the semi's and finals.. We all know teams are playing their best top 9 kids. Roll players get hosed at this time. They play pool games to get ready. Horse poop! These kids want to be in the spot light! They want to play and make the play in the championship game that wins it all for their team. But coaches convince them to drink the roll player kool aide because deep down they know that roll player the have can BEAT them if it comes down to brass tax!
