Here are the rules and schedule for the 10U/12U Spano Dome Friendly on Saturday March 23rd.

SPANO DOME RULES

* $5 admission, 10 and under are free. 3 coaches per team -- fee will be refunded (All coaches pay up front and we will reimburse each team up to 3 coaches)

* Free parking.

* No outside coolers are permitted into the facility other than team coolers for the players. A full concession stand will be available during games.

*There will be a check-in table at the front entrance of the facility. Please have a copy of your team insurance certificate available for us to collect. There is no sanction requirement. Subs are welcome if needed.

* In all matters pertaining to the rules, THE DECISION OF THE UMPIRE ON THE FIELD IS FINAL. These are friendlies... there are no protests! Shawn Koosh and Troy Collins will be at the check-in table all day for questions.

* Warm up areas are located both upstairs and downstairs along the third base line on each field. Your team's warmup area will be assigned for each game. This is listed on the game schedule. Please check prior to your games.

* Be ready to play at the buzzer. Games will start and end on the buzzer.

* Please clean up ALL trash in dugouts after EACH game. After game is complete teams will leave the field Immediately. NO MEETINGS ON FIELD OR IN DUGOUT.

* 65 min. drop dead games.

* Coin flip before each game determines the home team. There is no official scorekeeper. Remember this is a FRIENDLY.

* Despite a shortened right field, we will allow 9 defense players with unlimited defensive substitution.

* Teams may bat the line up if they choose. You may use a DP/Flex if you choose.

* IF you drop below the number of batters you started with you will be allowed to skip over their spot when they come up in the order.

* Courtesy runner for catcher/pitcher may be a sub or last batted out.

* We will play modified rules regarding balls hit off the ceiling nets as follows: For each player during an individual at bat the first ball hit off the ceiling and inside the marked infield area will be considered a foul. A second ball hit to that area during the same at bat will be called an out.

* On a ball hit fair and past the red lines on the ceiling nets it will be considered a LIVE BALL. Defensive players may catch the ball for an out.

* A batted ball hit above the marked line on the outfield fence in fair territory is considered live and is an automatic double for the batter only!!!

* Any base runners will be guaranteed only 1 base in this situation OR an additional base if forced. i.e. runner on second base and batter hits ball above outfield line. Batter is given 2nd and runner is guaranteed 3rd base. Runner may, however, advance home at her own risk as ball is live.

* Runner at 3rd base and batter hits ball above the outfield line, batter is given 2nd base and runner scores. A runner at 1st base would be given 3rd base in this situation due to the force... you get the idea!

* A batted ball hit in the air and into the outfield fence but below the marked line is ruled a guaranteed single. Ball is live. Base runners may safely advance one base, any additional bases are at their own risk.

* No infield practice between innings due to time constraints. 2 warmup pitches, 5 if new pitcher.

* Run rules will not be enforced. Although it is an unlikely situation given the short game times and the strength of the teams playing, anything can always happen. Please use your common sense and remain respectful of the girls playing the game at ALL TIMES!

* Please do not leave the Spano Dome through the emergency door. Unfortunately, those who violate this rule will not be permitted to return to the facility.

HAVE FUN!!!
