STERLING, Kan. - Coming into the night with a five-game win streak, the Bethel Threshers (16-15, 12-12) were playing their best basketball of the season. They found their strengths in their matchup with the #20 Sterling Warriors (24-7, 20-4), including another strong double-double from Abby Schmidt (JR/Newton, Kan.) and a career-high 25 points from Alex Bearup (SO/Wichita, Kan.). A low-shooting night from beyond the arc as a team ultimately couldn't get the Threshers back into it, as they fell at Sterling 68-57.
