Congradulations to both the 12U and the 10U Worth-Ohio Wave teams for winning thetournament in thier respective age groups.
The 12U team did it in spectacular fashion by plating two in the botoom of the seventh after the Buckeye Bandits took the lead by one run in the top of the 7th. This was the second championship this season for the 12U team to go along with a few 2nd place finishes as well.
The 10U team scored a 5-2 victory in the Championship game using excellent team defense and timly hitting to get the job done. This was the first Championship for the Ohio wave 10U team this season to go along with 3 2nd place finishes.
In addition to these two Worth-Ohio Wave teams taking the championships, the 16U team came in 2nd as they lost to a very strong Miami Valley XPress Blue team.
The 13U team competing in the 14U age group finished 3rd as well.
All in all a great weekend for the Ohio Wave teams
