You know your a softball player when....

When your fallball-playing freshman daughter is more worried about fitting her softball gear in her school locker than she is about fitting in at the new school.

When the big news coming home from the first day of school is not boys, teachers, classes, etc., but that a travel ball player moved in.

DD breaks her wrist playing s****r and the softball coach calls to make sure it wasn't her pitching arm (she was 11, this happened in the fall, and it was her rec coach that called)

she walks in your hotel room to say goodnight & she is already in her uniform for games in the morning...after a strange look you ask why and she tells you "early game in the morning, this will save some time in getting ready"

Last night, it was great. We, as a team, went out to eat for some pizza, and at least 3 of the girls had on socks and sandals/flip-flops.

when you finally get a little extra time after school/v-ball practice/homework and you are out selling raffle tickets door-to-door to raise money for your softball team.....

Stingrays 14u (Theophilus) is selling raffle tickets 3 for $10.00.

- 1st prize is 2-OSU VS MICHIGAN tickets Deck 23AA Row 4, 1 night hotel accomodations at the Hilton Garden Inn-OSU area and $100.00 gift certificate to Eddie Georges Grill.

Second prize is OSU VS PERDUE tickets
Third prize is a helmet or mini helmet signed by COACH TRESSEL.
