Looking for one more 13u team to play a series of scrimmages on Saturday March 18th from 8 am to noon. Three teams in already, looking for fourth.
Fantastic Indoor Facility
Cost: $250 (WATTS is $200 per hour this year and the $250 cost includes umpires)
Bring one new 12" ASA softball - can get your ball back at end of the day (put name on it)
I will choose one of the following schedules depending if WATTS opens the doors earlier so we can start warming up by 7:30 am.
Option 1 (only if they open early):

Prefer to find a team with another date at WATTS with a 14u spot I can fill so we both double up our scrimmage times. This is not a hard requirement.

- Three 70 minute games, drop dead
- Play three different teams
- WATTS opens by 7:30
- Warm up ... 7:30-8:15
- Game 1 ... 8:20-9:30
- Game 2 ... 9:35-10:45
- Game 3 ... 10:50-noon
Option 2 (if doors open later than 7:30 am)
- Two 90 minute games, drop dead
- Play two different teams
- Warm up ... 8:00-8:45
- Game 1 ... 8:50-10:20
- Game 2 ... 10:30-noon
Friendly Basics:
- Each team to turn in insurance (building requires insurance)
- YSU does not allow external food but some will be available - concession run by student group with all proceeds to the YSU non-profit student group
- Parking may or may not be free. I will send map. If YSU has parking employees in their lots, there will be a charge. It is hit and miss on Saturdays
- No gate fee
- No metal spikes - tennis/turf shoes only
- No High School student allowed to play - YSU rule
- Each team to bring a new 12" ASA softball
- Tell parents to bring chairs
- Bring batting nets for warm up and as a potential barrier for your dugout.
Play Basics:
- Friendly
- Bat lineup - EPs - Sub for Pitcher/Catcher
- Free defensive substitutions
- Drop Dead to maximize playing time - not a tournament
- One umpire per game
- Coin flip for home/away
- ASA rules apply
