I'm trying to find out what is the best bat to use in our modified fast-pitch 10-man league. We use cor .47 375 balls and I'm looking for a good bat that won't get destroyed after one season of hitting theses balls. It's my understanding that most new bats made today are only meant for cor 52 300 balls. Thanks.

All softballs used in fastpitch USA/ASA, HS and other sanctions are .47/375 until you get into college ball which is .47/400. Thus, FP bats are optimally made to take advantage of this and deliver the maximum exit velocity for these balls that is allowed under sanction rules. That said, different bats fit different swings better than others. The best thing to do would be for you to go to someplace like SPC that have various models to demo in cages with radar that measures exit speeds and see which one fits you best and has the highest EV.

there are multiple options for F/P bats in the 34" drop 9 or 8, that would work well and drop 10 as well.

Right now I use a 34/26 Miken Freak Supermax 750 and a 34/28 Easton Salvo. Both have pretty good pop and with our fences at around 300' I can clear them sometimes. I was looking at picking up a Worth Krecher or a Miken DC41 but I hear they are only designed to be used with .52/300 balls. I don't wanna drop $300 and have them get ruined.

Unfortunately, all of those mentioned are slowpitch bats and not sanctioned for use in Fastpitch or Modified Fastpitch.

What about the ASA/USA stamp?
There are ASA/USA stamps and then there are ASA/USA stamps. Both SP and FP bats have them but they are different for each. If you look at the rule book, you'll find that a SP stamped bat is not aloud to be used in FP. Once upon a time they were but not anymore.

So are there specific bats you could recommend that would do well with cor .47 375 balls for modified fast pitch?

It all depends on what you like but probably the closest you will find will be something in a 34/26 in a Louisville Slugger Xeno, Easton Ghost or possibly an Anderson Carbon. The other choice would be a Mizuno Power Carbon. None of these will be as end-loaded as your SP bats though. Probably the Xeno or Ghost would give a better feel because the Ghost swings heavier than sticker and feels more end-loaded although it's an evenly balanced bat or the Xeno which has the barrel weight a tad further down the barrel to give it more of an end-loaded feel.

The answers shared in this thread started by Axeman05 are from some of the most knowledgeable people in the game of fastpitch softball. I'm in agreement with their answers. I sense you believe you may need a heavier bat to swing. I don't know if you do or not but would suggest going someplace to have your swing analyzed to determine the best fit for you under today's rules. This might change your current mindset as to the most effective bat for you to use.

Great answers people!!!!

Here is the banned bat list the list used by NFHS and USA softball https://usa.asasoftball.com/e/BB1P2000.asp

The 52cor-300comp "pillow ball" is used primarily in slow pitch or senior series and honestly after an inning or two of play it dose not matter what bat you use thus why players call it the pillow or sock ball. Now ball performance does impact bat performance. Most sanctioning bodies use a 44/47cor 375 or 400 comp ball high seam or low seam so bat manufacturers use these balls for testing.
They will test the hotter balls as well as the pillow balls but the 52/275-350comp is the safety feature regardless of bat used.

As far as the bat, If you review the banned list you find some slow pitch models as well as fast pitch models that are banned for use in HS and USA /ASA play.
Now some other sanctioning bodies may allow these bats or, may have others on their list so it is important to check the list for your league/sanctioning body in which you play.
If a bat is not on the banned list for your league or sanctioning body it can be used as long as it has their stamp.

The major difference in slow pitch bats and fast pitch bats is length, weight, balanced, end load or max load.
Most females do not want a 26oz or heaver bat and most men do not want drop -10/12s so they will not market in both areas. The correct weight and length will be decided by the players size and strength and abilities.

With that said I have seen travel, college and HS ladies swing the slow pitch model 34" 26/27oz bat generally a single piece construction balanced. Some old school guys and ladies may remember before Bustos change to Demarini she swung a Miken Freak.
My DD swung a Freak FX700 max load 34/27and "ASA" Ultra II 34/26 in travel ball, HS and her first year of college before the team went to XENOs.and LS sponsorship. Then she swung the 34/26 or drop 8 Xeno.
During travel ball we were sponsored by Miken for 4 years so we got blems, demos and other products that wanted from them. We used them in all weather conditions, ball types even in the cages both SP/FP models. Even used the ones that survived after FP in SP leagues.

You will like the Miken DC41 Supermax long barrel 14 Black or Green.
You cant use it in USA/ASA though only stamped ISA, NSA and USSSA. Good durability and strikes all balls well. There is an USA/ASA model but it is not quite as hot as the others.
