[Softball] Winter didn't deter ONU; Tigers open season 3-1 in Rosemont

ROSEMONT, Ill. – In their earliest opening day contest in program history, the Olivet Nazarene University softball team kicked off the 2019 season on Friday, Feb. 1 in the Dome at Rosemont. Winter didn't seem to deter the Tiger's bats, connecting for 39 hits in 111 at bats for a scorching .351 average. Emily Carstens (SR/Peotone, Ill.) started the season off with three win in the circle to lead the Tigers pitching staff.
